A new feature "SOMETHIG DIFFERENT" is added by google». Now, whats this?. When you type a search for, example NOODLES» you would find a "something different" section on the bottom left of the page. This feature allows you to explore other concepts that you might find interesting.




Google ad's up the links in "something different" based on certain web documents. It also consider whether the terms appear in similar contexts on websites, such as in the same table.


How do they add the links?
If you search for [ soccer ], google» might notice that web documents and users' search queries often connect soccer to other sports like tennis and basketball. These searches are algorithmically determined based on a number of purely objective factors without human intervention.--say's google»
It's interesting to see how it would help people in finding their results =)
