Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has unveiled a new graph search feature. Facebook's Graph Search will allow you to search for people with similar interests or interests of your choice. Not only people, you can also search for the photos your friend took while he was on a trip or discover new places or music.

Unlike the present search engines, Facebook Graph Search will not index websites or content. All it does is allow you to sort content that is shared with you, the user. It's interesting to see how this new feature be received. Addressing the gathering at Melon Park, Mark said that 'Facebook has access to Almost a million new people every day. 240 billion photos. 1 billion people. 1 trillion connections"  which eliminates the need for indexing content like traditional search engines.

So for example, if you search for a favorite Movie, you'll be displayed a list of most most 'liked' movies by your friends. Similarly music, restaurants etc. In short, Facebook shows up the 'Most' liked visited read or listened data by your friends in your network.

Important Points about this feature are:
1. You can only view the content that is shared with you.
2. Most content is not Public.
3. Every Piece of content has its own audience.

Also, users can volunteer for the beta testing of this feature. All you need to do is hit the sign up button here
